Our Sustainability is Yours!
Every decision we make takes into account the impact on our environment and community. Being part of Collabor8te lets you tick off a lot of sustainability boxes too.
Sharing your office space means you are not only cutting costs for you and your business but you are also redistributing resources better to avoid them being wasted.
We are very proud that we:
- improved EPC rating of our space from G to C,
- are Living Wage employer,
- employees operating on four working days week,
- recycle 70-80% of our waste and
- are running on green energy only.
Reuse
No single-use items – we provide reusable cutlery, cups, and bottles. Furniture and equipment are resold, donated, or repurposed whenever possible
Recycle
Over 80% of our waste is recycled on average.
Materials include paper, cardboard, plastic, cans, glass, food and batteries.
LED lights + sensors
All our lights are LED and we also installed motion sensors in some of our rooms to use only the energy needed.
Supplier screening
We have high standards when choosing our suppliers and we screen them all to make sure they are as local as possible, have sustainable measures in place and are not exploiting their employees or the environment.
Green energy
All our energy is generated from renewable sources only.
Eco office supplies
All our paper is recycled without losing on quality, we encourage our members to use eco printing mode and our office supplies are eco-friendly choices.
No flush wasted
We have dual flushing systems on our toilets so you can choose how much water is needed and use Who Gives a Crap recycled toilet paper.
Water meter
We installed a water meter so we know exactly how much, where and what we can improve.
Water filtering
We have a water filtering machine connected to our water source, so you won’t find any plastic bottles here. We also have glass bottles available for our members.
Non-toxic
Where possible we use non-toxic environmental friendly cleaning products. Also all our paint on walls is non-toxic.
Employees wellbeing
All our employees work 4 days a week and we pay living wage as a minimum to all of them.
Smart traveling
None of our employees travel to work by car and we encourage our members to use environmental-friendly transportation as well with discounts on electric car-sharing with Co-Wheels.
Green energy only
We only use green energy in our space provided by Opus.
Reuse – Recycle
We provide reusable cutlery, cups and bottles to our members, nothing is single-use. We also recycle paper, cardboard, plastic bottles, cans, glass and batteries.
